Pub Social this Thursday! Join us this Thursday as we finally introduce the Fusor Project! Last week we went to UK Atomic Energy Authority Culham Campus with a group of 29 students to see JET, RACE, and Materials Research Facility (MRF). MancheSTAR’s weekly lecture series kicks off this Thursday. Meet the Committee! 🌟 2 weeks ago we had our first international society trip with a group of 10 in Greifswald, Germany to visit the Max Plank Institute. Our primary purpose of the trip was to tour and learn about Wendelstien 7-X (W7-X) which is the world’s largest stellarator, completed in 2015. We visited the largest stellarator in the world, Wendelstein 7-X in Greifswald, Germany today ☀️Out with the old, in with the new⛏️ Yesterday, on the 26th of March 2025, we organized our first trip to Culham Campus to visit the @ukaeaofficial @eurofusion_consortium’s Joint European Torus. This legendary device has a rich history of pushing the boundaries of fusion experiments, pioneering robotics and maintenance, and is now an important tool for decommissioning fusion reactors.
